| Wolfgang Maringer has a degree in Material Sciences and Еngineering from the Saarland University in Germany. In 1991 he started working as Technical Customer Support for Sollac in Florange, France; a company that will later on become part of the today’s ArcelorMittal Group. Furthermore, he gained numerous experience working on locations such as Sagunto, Spain and AM South Africa as a Supply Chain Manager and Production Manager, among others. Mr. Maringer joined ArcelorMittal Skopje in 2014 as a CTO and as of 2015, he took over the position of Plant Director. | |
ArcelorMittal Skopje is of one the largest steel product manufacturers in the Balkans offering Cold Rolled Coils & Sheets, Galvanized and Pre-painted Coils, mainly for the General Industry segment on the regional market. Starting from hot-rolled coils as input material, the plant owns all installations to realize the successive operations on the products: pickling, rolling, annealing, coating, levelling, controlling, and packing. Integrated to the ArcelorMittal FCE (Flat Carbon Europe) structure, the plant is engaged in a continuous progress demarche in order to improve Safety and Quality, while decreasing the transformation costs. In parallel, differentiating products are developed. This is accompanied by a service able to give most term delivery which is leader in the market. |
