Das „Bulletin du Cercle Colonial Luxembourgeois" berichtet über die Tätigkeit seiner Mitglieder im Kongo und in Übersee. Es heißt u. a.,
An Bord des Dampfers Leopoldville sind am 23. März für Rechnung der Sedec nach dem Kongo abgereist die HH. Emil Arendt aus Wiltz, Joh. Mertens aus Luxemburg, Josef Roesgen aus Beggen.
