Et huet och der Famill Schiltz gehéiert ewéi aus folgendem Artikel ervir geet: Mersch, 8. Juni 1920. Die Gebäulichkeiten der Merscher Zigarrenfabrik wurden aus freier Hand vom Sattlermeister Bernard Kraus aus Mersch zum Preise von 19.500 Franken erworben . Das daranliegende Haus Schiltz ging in öffentlicher Versteigerung zum Preise von 14.500 Franken in den Besitz des Fuhrmanns Jos. Kill aus Mersch über. (Der Landwirt: 9.6.1920)

E Göppel war e Gerät, dat d'Muskelkraaft vun Déieren (meeschtens Päerd, Oksen oder Eselen) an eng rotéierend Beweegung ëmgewandelt huet, fir stationär Maschinnen unzedreiwen.
Ech mengen, d'Gerät gouf virun d' Haus gestallt fir et ze reparéieren oder ze ersetzen. Et schéngt net déi fest Plaz dofir ze sinn.
